Abstract: In southern Italy, wallrocket (Diplotaxis tenuifolia) crops under glass showed germination failure, slower development, yellowing and early senescence of leaves. In addition, necrotic lesions developing on one side of both crown and taproot. Rhizoctonia solani belonging to anastomosis groups (AG) 1 through to 11 was isolated from infected tissue. Pathogenicity was confirmed by re-inoculation.
