First report of Wisteria vein mosaic virus in China
Plant Pathology 53 (4), 516-516
Abstract: A mosaic disease of ornamental Wisteria spp. is common in many regions of China and up to 80% disease incidence has been recorded. A virus was isolated from infected plants in Beijing and compared with several potyviruses. A partial DNA sequence showed 96% similarity with the Wisteria vein mosaic virus (WVMV) (accession number AF484549) from New Zealand.
