Plant Disease 106 (2), 773-773
Abstract: During 2019, watermelon plants (Citrullus lanatus) grown in Bahia State, Brazil were observed with symptoms of severe leaf curling, distortion, and vein clearing/yellowing. The presence of Watermelon crinkle leaf-associated virus 1 and 2 was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
