Plant Disease 105 (9 - 0024)
Abstract: During 2020, hazelnut trees (Corylus avellana) grown in Romania were observed with powdery mildew symptoms. The fungus Erysiphe corylacearum was isolated from the diseased plants. The identification was based on morphological characteristics and DNA sequence analysis. Pathogenicity of the isolates was demonstrated by inoculation and re-isolation.
