First report of Costus stripe mosaic virus infecting Tradescantia spathacea plants in Brazil

Abstract: During 2019, ornamental Tradescantia spathacea plants grown in São Paulo state, Brazil were observed with leaf mosaic symptoms. The presence of Costus stripe mosaic virus was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
