Plant Disease 96 (11), 1703-1703
Abstract: During 2009, melon (Cucumis melo) plants grown in Lebanon were observed with symptoms of severe yellowing and watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) with symptoms of pronounced dwarfing and mosaics. The presence of Watermelon chlorotic stunt virus was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing. The following year, also cucumber and squash plants were found to be infected.
