First report of Tomato chlorosis virus infecting tomato in Sudan
Plant Disease 95 (12), 1592-1592
Abstract: During 2011, tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) plants grown in the Sudan were observed with symptoms of interveinal yellowing and necrosis on the middle and lower leaves. The disease was associated with whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) infestations. The presence of Tomato chlorosis virus was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
