Abstract: During 2006, potato plants grown in São Paulo, Brazil were observed with symptoms of deforming mosaic symptoms. The presence of Tomato severe rugose virus was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using specific antisera, PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
