Powdery mildew, caused by Leveillula taurica, on matilija poppy in California
Plant Disease 91 (3), 329-329
Abstract: During 2006, ornamental Romneya coulteri plants growing in California, USA were observed with symptoms of chlorotic, irregularly shaped, vein-delimited lesions. The fungus Leveillula taurica was isolated from the diseased plants. The identification was based on morphological characteristics. Pathogenicity of the isolates was demonstrated by inoculation.
