First report of Apium virus Y in celery in New Zealand
Plant Disease 91 (12), 1682-1682
Abstract: During 2006, celery (Apium graveolens) plants grown in New Zealand were observed with symptoms of leaf mosaic and vein-banding. The presence of Apium virus Y was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using indicator plants, electron microscopy and PCR analysis. The diseased celery plants were also found to be coinfected with Celery mosaic virus.
