The first report of Tomato torrado virus in Poland
Plant Disease 91 (10), 1364-1364
Abstract: During 2003 and 2004, tomato plants grown in Poland were observed with symptoms of severe stunting, malformation, and necrosis of the leaves. Nucleic acids were extracted from symptomatic plants and the presence of Tomato torrado virus was demonstrated using PCR analysis. Pathogenicity of the virus was demonstrated by transmission tests to various indicator plants using the vector Trialeurodes vaporariorium.
