Variability in reproduction of Meloidogyne incognita on selected tomato cultivars
Pakistan Journal of Nematology 22 (1), 61-64
Abstract: Response of seven tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) cultivars was investigated against Meloidogyne incognita. None of the varieties was found immune to Meloidogyne incognita when studied on the basis of resistance-index parameters. The infected roots were poorly to heavily galled. The significant reduction in plant growth was recorded in Peshawari and Roma cultivars that appear to be highly susceptible. Long Italy and Royal Holland were most resistant followed by Salos Holland. M. Maker and Top Holland were found moderately resistant.
