Neotylenchidae (entomopathogens)

This family includes several species of entomopathogenic nematodes which have been used or studied as biological control agents. The species (e.g. those of the genus Deladenus) are characterized by an alternation between insect parasitic and free-living forms. The free-living form feeds on fungi.
