Die Symptome der Netzfleckenkrankheit der Gerste, hervorgerufen durch Drechslera teres (Sacc.) Shoem., und deren Verwechslungsmöglichkeiten
[The symptoms of net blotch on barley, caused by Drechslera teres, and risks for diagnostic mistakes]
Nachrichtenblatt des Deutschen Pflanzenschutzdienstes 50 (3), 58-63
Abstract: Net blotch lesions exhibit high variability in the field, leading to confusion in differentiating net blotch from barley stripe, spot blotch, scald, powdery mildew, mlo spots, Ascochyta-leaf spots, Ramularia leaf spots or physiologic leaf spots, respectively. Conditions for appearance and risks of confusion are presented and assistance for correct identification is given. Figures showing typical disease symptoms, such which could be misinterpreted as well as fungal conidia which shall support and facilitate a reliable diagnosis.
