Myzocallis coryli (Goetze, 1778) - (filbert aphid)
This aphid is a serious pest of hazelnut in North America and Europe. It is also found in other regions. During outbreaks, the feeding activities of the aphid can decrease yield and cause mould on the leaves.
The adults are yellowish and have a body length of 1½ to 2 mm. Parts of the antennae and legs are dark.
