Meteorus laphygmae (parasitoid) (Viereck, 1913)
This wasp is found in Central and South America. It has been introduced into Hawaii in 1942 against Spodoptera exempta, a pest of sugarcane. It is an endoparasitoid of a wide range of Lepidoptera larvae, mainly from the families Noctuidae, Geometridae and Crambidae (Kaufman & Wright, 2017).
