Megabruchidius dorsalis (Fåhraeus, 1839)

This bruchid beetle is native to Asia, but has been introduced into Europe, first record in Switzerland in 2012. It breeds in the seedpods of Gleditsia species and in other Fabaceae. In Japan, it is mainly found in the Japanese honey locust tree (Gleditsia japonica).
