Macrosteles sexnotatus (Fallen, 1806)
This leafhopper is found in Europe and neighbouring regions. It is suspected to transmit phytoplasma diseases and the presence of different types of phytoplasmas has been demonstrated in this species (e.g. Duduk et al., 2008).
