Macrosteles quadripunctulatus (Kirschbaum)
This leafhopper is found in southern parts of Europe and the Mediterranean region and is an important vector of phytoplasma diseases. It transmits, for example, the aster yellows phytoplasma (Candidatus Phytoplasma asteris) and the Chrysanthemum yellows phytoplasma.
