Kampimodromus Nesbitt, 1951

This is a small genus of predatory mites found mainly in temperate regions. Several species are natural enemies of plant parasitic mites. The polyphagous Kampimodromus aberrans is the most important species on crops.

The genus is characterized by a combination of various characters like the number, position and size of the setae on the dorsal shield or the morphology of the ventral shields like that of the anterior sternal shield and the posterior ventrianal shield.
