Insecticide resistance detected in Myzus persicae (Sulzer) (Hemiptera: Aphididae) from New South Wales cotton

Abstract: Insecticide resistance in Myzus persicae is documented for the first time in Australia in cotton. Resistance levels detected were monocrotophos 56x, chlorpyrifos 46x, dimethoate 16x, pirimicarb 6x, methomyl 5x, methamidophos 4x, and profenofos 4x.
