Witches broom of Rhamnus catharticus: A new phytoplasma disease
Journal of Phytopathology - Phytopathologische Zeitschrift 144 (4), 221-223
Abstract: A lethal witches' broom disease of buckthorn (Rhamnus catharticus) has been observed in south-western Germany. The disease is associated with the presence of a distinct phytoplasma that is most closely related to the phytoplasmas of the apple proliferation cluster. However, the agent can clearly be distinguished from the other cluster members.
