Iphiseiodes zuluagai (predator) Denmark & Muma, 1972
This predatory mite is found in South and Central America and has been recorded and studied as a natural enemy of various pest mites like Oligonychus ilicis or Polyphagotarsonemus latus. I. zuluagai can be mass reared on the mould mite Tyrophagus putrescentiae (de Albuquerque & de Moraes, 2008) and an alternative food source is pollen (Marques et al., 2014).
