Heteropsylla cubana Crawford - (Leucaena psyllid)
This species is a serious pest of Leucaena trees which is used in the tropics as shade trees, source for firewood and for nitrogen fixation. The psyllid appeared in 1984 in Hawaii and spread through many tropical countries of Asia, Africa and the Pacific.
