Hemicriconemoides mangiferae Siddiqi, 1961
This species of ring nematode is widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions. It has been originally described from mango trees in India and has been also associated with mango decline in other regions (e.g. see Inserra et al., 2015). In addition, infestations have been reported from other fruit trees, grapevine, as well as various forest trees. On lychee, it has been associated with a serious decline disease.
