Hemicriconemoides cocophillus (Loos, 1949)
This species of ring nematode is widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions. The alternate spelling cocophilus is also often used. It has been reported to infest various crops, including date and coconut palms, as well as sugarcane. For example, infestation have been, associated with sugarcane decline in Martinique (Inserra et al., 2015).
