Grapholita packardi (Zeller, 1875) - (cherry fruitworm)

This moth attacks stone and pome fruits like apple, cherry, plum and peach, as well as blueberry in North and Central America. Eggs are laid in the shoots or the young, developing fruits. The larvae bore into the shoots or fruits, causing dead or deformed shoots and fruit drop.
