Field evaluation of insecticides for controlling mole crickets in turf
Florida Entomologist 56 (1), 19-23
Abstract: Seventeen insecticides were evaluated for control of mole crickets (Gryllotalpa hexadactyla and Scapteriscus spp.) in turf. Data indicate that chlordane and propoxur were the most effective sprays applied, carbofuran and chlordane the most effective granules, and chlorpyrifos the most effective bait. Low percentage baits provided more satisfactory control in summer and fall while sprays and granules performed better in the spring.
