Euseius Wainstein, 1962
This is an important genus of predatory mites with nearly 200 species and a world-wide distribution. Apart from other morphological characters, the females can be recognized by the pattern of dorsal setae and usually also by that of the caudoventral setae. Some species are pollen feeders.
Type species: Euseius finlandicus.
