Euclea delphinii (Boisduval, 1832) - (spiny oak-slug moth)
This moth is found in North America where the caterpillars feed on various trees like oak, beech, chestnut or willow. The caterpillars have stinging hairs, but these are less venomous than in some other species of nettle caterpillars.
