Edwardsiana flavescens (Fabricius, 1794)
This leafhopper is found in Europe and Asia. In Europe it is known mainly from living on hornbeam trees (Carpinus). In Asia it has been reported (as Empoasca flavescens) from various crops like tea or soybean (e.g. Patra et al., 2022). There is a need for taxonomists to critically examine the Asian records.
