Two new records of jumping plant lice (Hemiptera: Triozidae) from Syria
EPPO Bulletin 51 (2), 324-328
Abstract: During regular inspections of plants in the Latakia Governorate, Syria, two psyllid species previously unknown from Syria were discovered. These are Phylloplecta trisignata (Löw) from Rubus sp. and Trioza brevigenae Mathur from Ficus microcarpa. Both are new records for Syria. For T. brevigenae this is also only the second record of this species in the EPPO region, the previous one being a new record in Cyprus in 2020.
