Depressaria Haworth, 1811
This genus of small moths is widely distributed, mainly in the northern hemisphere, and contains more than 100 species. Several species are regarded as agricultural pests like the parsnip webworm, Depressaria pastinacella. The adult moths are characterised by their flat (depressed) shape.
