Clostera anachoreta (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775)
This moth is widely distributed in Europe and temperate parts of Asia. It infests poplar and willow trees. For example, it is regarded as an important poplar pest on central and northern China (Wang et al., 2021). Outbreaks can cause defoliation. The adult moth has a wingspan of 30-40 mm.
