Two new African injurious grasshoppers

Abstract: The new species described and figured and compared with other species of their genera are Eyprepocnemis noxius which is a serious pest of cotton and Sorghum vulgare in Anglo-Egyptian Sudan and Catantops joycei, which attacks leaves of S. vulgare, flowering heads of sunflower, leaves of cotton and leaves and young fruit of Sesamum orientale also in the Sudan.
