Biston suppressaria (Guenée, 1858) - (tea looper)

This is a large polyphagous moth which is found in Asia. It is sometimes regarded as a minor pest of tea, the tung oil tree and other crops. It can also defoliate eucalypt trees. The adult moth has a wingspan of up to 80 mm (female) and the wings are light, covered with many dark spots.
