Molecular-genetic evidence of aphid pathogen Pandora kondoiensis infection in Sitobion avenae collected in Denmark
Biocontrol Science and Technology 26 (3), 414-418
Abstract: Entomophthoralean-specific primers were used to estimate the occurrence of entomophthoralean species in the cereal aphid Sitobion avenae in Denmark. Sequencing documented for the first time the presence of Pandora kondoiensis in Denmark. Specific primers were designed and P. kondoiensis was identified on 12% of infested straws sampled in 2012.
