Introduced parasites and predators of arthropod pests and weeds: a world review
USDA/ARS Agriculture Handbook No. 480, 545 pp.
Abstract: Arthropod pest species and weeds are arranged in a systematic sequence, according to order and family. For each pest family, introduced biological control agents are reviewed by one of the authors and a detailed account is given for each pest and weed species for which introductions were made. The introduced parasitoids, predators or weed control agents are discussed for each species, together with details on countries of origin, released numbers, location and dates of introductions, as well as information on establishment and impact, if available. Summaries of the biology of the natural enemies as well as their hosts is also often provided.
