Bactrocera tsuneonis (Miyake, 1919) - (Japanese orange fly)
This fruit fly is found in eastern Asia (Japan and parts of China) where it is an important pest of citrus. During outbreaks, around 50% of the citrus fruits may be infested. The adults have a wingspan of around 10 mm and there is usually one generation per year.
