Australian Journal of Entomology 35 (3), 201-202
Abstract: Neohydatothrips pseudoannulipes, a pest of African marigolds, is recorded from Australia for the first time; it is widespread in the warmer, eastern areas of the continent. Details are given of how to identify the pest, and a new synonym is established involving populations from Japan, Hawaii, Florida, Costa Rica and El Salvador.
