Identification of two phytoplasmas detected in China-trees with decline symptoms in Paraguay
Australasian Plant Pathology 34 (4), 583-585
Abstract: Phytoplasmas belonging to the 16SrIII (X-disease)-group and the 16SrXIII (Mexican periwinkle virescence)-group have been detected in Paraguay in China-tree (Melia azedarach). Phytoplasma identification was based on rDNA amplification by polymerase chain reaction with universal and group-specific primers, and product digestion with restriction endonucleases.
