Some new cercosporoid and related leaf spot diseases from New Zealand and Fiji

Abstract: Several new species of cercosporoid fungi were isolated from leaf spots of various hosts, and are newly described. These include Pseudocercospora filipendulae-ulmariae, P. hebicola, P. melicyti, P. rhabdothamni, Pseudocercosporella persicariicola, P. spiraeigena, Pseudocladosporium matsushimae and Ramularia persicariicola nom. nov. (= R. rufomaculans var. longispora) from New Zealand. Furthermore, some additional cercosporoid fungi and plant diseases are also newly recorded from New Zealand and Fiji.
