Abstract: International literature review on the biological control of aphids using the entomopathogenic fungus Verticillium lecanii is given. Attention is directed on the fungal proteins hydrophobins for their role in Biotechnology as well as Biocontrol of Pests of Agricultural and horticultural importance.
