Abstract: Information on 10 species (with a total of 732 individuals) of insects, belonging to orders Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera and Diptera is given. Insects were obtained from cones of Picea abies (L.) Karst. collected in 1992 in Bialowieza Management Unit in north-eastern range of Norway spruce in Poland.
The most common species were Cydia strobilella (L.) and Kaltenbachiola strobi (Winn.) feeding on cones, as well as the seminiphagous Plemeliella abietina Seitn. The wasps Platygaster contorticornis (Ratz.), Torymus azureus Boh., and T. caudatus Boh., were found as larval parasitoids of K. strobi. Liotryphon strobilellae L., Nemeritis transfuga (Grav.) and Glabrobracon variator parasitized the caterpillars of C. strobilella.
