Abstract: Six different pheromone traps were tested in the laboratory to catch the Mediterranean Flour Moth, Ephestia kühniella. In 15 sets of experiments 2 traps were compared by pairs. The best results were achieved with the Detia Mottenindikator (Detia-Degesch GmbH, Laudenbach, Germany) and the Trappit Funnel trap (Biological Control-Systems Limited, England). The other 4 traps were: A-Trap Combi (Ciba-Geigy A. G., Switzerland), Trappit-Delta-Trap (Biological Control-Systems Limited, UK), Traptest^® (Istituto G. Donegani, Italy) and Mastrap^® (Istituto G. Donegani, Italy).
