Abstract: Information on 6 species (a total of 444 individuals) of insects, belonging to the orders Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera and Diptera, are given. Insects were obtained from cones of Abies alba Mill. collected in 1989, from mature trees of Roztocze National Park in Poland where the natural range of European fir reaches its north-eastern boundary.
