Über das Freiland-Auftreten von Frankliniella occidentalis (Perg.) (Thysanoptera) in Ungarn
[On the occurrence of Frankliniella occidentalis (Perg.) under field conditions in Hungary]
Anzeiger für Schädlingskunde, Pflanzenschutz, Umweltschutz 63 (6), 114-116
Abstract: In the surroundings of greenhouses specimens of F. occidentalis have been found in the flowers of 23 out of 34 cultivated and weedy plants. Some of these plant species are hosts of the tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). F. occidentalis can survive in the field during one part of the vegetation period. The question of overwintering in the field must still be cleared.
