Anarta trifolii (Hufnagel, 1766) - (clover cutworm)

This medium-size moth (wingspan ~ 35-40 mm) is widely distributed in temperate and subtropical regions of the northern hemisphere. The caterpillars are polyphagous and can infest, among others, clover, canola, beans, other vegetables and forest trees.
