Anarsia Zeller 1839
This genus of small moths is widely distributed and contains more than 100 species. They typically have a wingspan of 10-15 mm. The larvae feed on shoots, buds, flowers and fruits of various trees. The peach twig borer, Anarsia lineatella is an important pest of peach and other stone fruits in Europe and North America.
