cDNA fragment clone and sequence analysis of acetylcholinesterase gene in the diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (L.)
Acta Entomologica Sinica 45 (4), 544-547
Abstract: Using RT-PCR, the partial cDNA sequence of the acetylcholinesterase gene in the diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (L.) was analyzed. With the use of a pair of degenerate primers, one fragment of 281 bp was amplified from the fourth instar larva. Homologous analysis of the cloned cDNA amino acid sequence of acetylcholinesterase in diamondback moths and corresponding sequences of other source of amino acid sequences of acetylcholinesterase revealed that there is high degree of amino acid sequence homology between the diamondback moth and other insects.
